Munnar is one of the coolest place in Western Ghats in Kerala. In broad view it looks like Dargeeling of West Bengal. People can reach this spot by Cochin route (130km) or Madurai of Tamilunadu (154km). There are other route also to reach here. If you want to visit all places in Munnar it requires minimum 2 days.

DABBE FALLS is one of the wonderfull falls in Western Ghats; But unknown and less publicity

Western Ghats is origin for many rivers and most famous falls of Karnataka are located in Western Ghats itself. But there are many unknown falls with most enjoyable.

 Here, I'm going to say is Dabbe Falls. It is located in Sagar taluq, Karnataka. The way to approach this falls is, in between the Bhatkal- Siddhapur state highway. We have to take left in Biligaru. There is a route board of PWD, shows the way to Dabbe Falls. We have to travel 5 KM from the main road to reach the falls. After passing nearly 2km mud road is availabe. There is no route map or board on the way, hence we have to ask with local peoples for reaching to falls. Be carefull, no mobile network available. Finally we will reach to one village house. Road will be end at that point. Next 500 mtr is trekking road. The house people will give more information about to reach the falls.

Trekking route is not so easy. Old age people and ladies have to think twice before travelling to falls.

Finally we reached near the falls. All tiredness will go while seeing the natural beauty.

In Manson season swimming is too dangerous. I think that is better to go in winter season.
